Introduction

DblFuzzr, LLC (“DblFuzzr”, “we” or “us”) respects the privacy of its customers, partners and website visitors (“you”). This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal information collected through dblfuzzr.com and through our dealings with you. It follows the structure of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applies under the law of the United States, including applicable state privacy laws.

This policy does not cover personal information we process on behalf of a customer under a services agreement. For that information the customer is the controller and its own privacy notice applies.

Personal information we collect

Information you give us. When you write to us or engage our services, we receive what you send: your name, email address, phone number, job title, company and the content of your messages, and the business information an engagement needs, such as project specifications, documents and source code.

Information collected automatically. The website uses Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC, and HubSpot, a marketing and customer relationship platform of HubSpot, Inc., through cookies described in the Cookie policy. Through them we collect your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, your browser and operating system, device identifiers, the pages you view, how long you stay and how you arrived. HubSpot also links your visits to your contact record once you write to us. Google and HubSpot process this data for us and under their own terms. Our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., keeps request logs for every page served. A log entry holds your IP address, the country derived from it, the URL you asked for, the time of the request, the referring page, your browser’s user-agent string, the request method, the response status and sizes, and the time the request took.

Information from third parties. We may receive your contact details from people who introduce you to us, or from a professional network where you interact with us there.

How we use personal information

We use personal information to operate and secure the website, respond to your enquiries, provide and account for our services, send administrative messages, send marketing messages where the law permits, which you can opt out of at any time, meet legal obligations, and carry out a merger, acquisition or sale of assets should one occur. We do not sell personal information.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on one of these legal bases: your consent, performance of a contract with you, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in running the website and our business (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and tracking technologies

The website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, to analyse usage with Google Analytics and to support marketing with HubSpot. The Cookie policy names each cookie, describes the notice you see on your first visit, and explains how to control cookies in your browser. By continuing to use the website after that notice you accept the cookies described there.

How we share personal information

We share personal information only with service providers that act for us, such as our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., our analytics provider, Google LLC, our marketing and customer relationship platform, HubSpot, Inc., and the providers of our email and accounting tools; with professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants; with authorities where the law requires it or to protect our rights or your safety; and with a party to a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Service providers may use personal information only to perform their service for us.

International data transfers

Hosting logs, analytics data and the information you send us are processed and stored in the United States. This applies to visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Where the law requires a transfer safeguard, we rely on standard contractual clauses or another recognised mechanism.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know whether we hold personal information about you, to access it, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Under applicable US state privacy laws you may also opt out of targeted advertising, which we do not do, and you have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising a right. Where the GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country. To exercise a right, write to the contact below. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Retention of personal information

We keep personal information only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, and as long as the law requires for tax, accounting or dispute purposes. Netlify keeps its logs online for 90 days and offline for one year, as stated in its data processing agreement.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The website and our services are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Do Not Track

The website does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
